Student Loans

My policy for student loans is simple. Every US citizen should be allowed one interest free loan upon graduating high school to pursue a secondary education. There are many caveats to this. One being an overall reform to our public education system which sets up our citizens to be well rounded and educated enough to join the work force immeditely after graduating high school.  Another caveat being the reform of our Military and government service in a way which allows people to serve the country while learning trades and skills and getting paid to do so. If implemented correctly, military and government service could replace/absorb the unemployment system entirely. For example, if you serve directly out of high school until you make a rank of E5, then rejoin the civilian workforce you will keep your rank as a government employee so that if you do get fired or let go or quit a job, you can simply reinstate yourself into government service at the paygrade you originally achieved.  Make common sense policy common again.
