1st Amendment
Amendment 1: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The first amendment of the United States is the most important piece of legislation in the entire world. Without the first amendment there is no industrial or technological revolution. There are no civil rights movements without the first amendment. Without the first amendment the world could not achieve what it has. Any country could have established the first amendment, but we did. Without the first amendment there is no United States. My job as president, I feel, is to protect the first amendment from those who oppose it. Without the first amendment, there is no second, third, fourth, fifth, etc. amendment.
